stem 2021 topic

 Bubble science 


Task1:

1:My experience is that when I was younger I always buy bubbles to blow pop them


2:The outside and inside surfaces of a bubble consist of soap molecules. 


Task2:

Challenge bubble caterpillar

Experiment:

Purpose:Prepare bubble making liquid following a true and true recipe


Equipment: a set of scales, 250ml breaker, a calibrated syringe and stirring rod 


Ingredients: table sugar glycerol kitchen detergent water 


Method Fill the 2020 ml half full,that is measure 125 mls

Water.

Weigh 5 grams of sugar, stir into the water until the sugar   

 Is dissolved.


Measure 3 mls of glycerol- add water solution.

Measure qo mls detergent-add water solution 

 Stir the contents in the breaker so all ingredients are thoroughly mixed through

 

Out come:


Use the bubble making solution to experiment bubble making

 Task 1 

 My thoughts about the flowers:I think flowers are colourful and they help us with the oxygen around the world.


What I have noticed about the flowers:Ive noticed that some people pick out flowers for traditional events.

  

What I Know:Plants and flowers oxygenate the air, boosting brain cells, which improves memory, clarity and concentration. Think of plants and flowers as super food for the brain cells. 

Task 2: Dissecting A Hibiscus Flower


Aim

To carefully dissect a hibiscus flower and bud to identify and collate the flower and bud parts.
